How to Become a Sponsor

The Maritime Mega will be the largest gathering of geocachers ever assembled on Canada's East Coast.  The event will be held in Dayspring, Nova Scotia at the Municipality Activity and Recreation Complex (better known as the MARC) on Saturday July 10th, 2010. 

 

The Maritime Mega Committee is currently soliciting event vendors and financial sponsors.  Partnership with the Maritime Mega will help us create an exciting and successful event, and will help you spread the word of your company to the geocaching community. 

 

A variety of sponsorship levels have been developed to meet your marketing and budget needs.  Custom sponsorship ideas are also welcome.

 

Please feel free to contact us with questions, suggestions and comments about the upcoming event.  If you have an idea that hasn't been tried yet and you think should be considered, we would love to hear about it.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Event Vendor Table : For a minimal fee of $200 you will be allocated an 8 ft x 2.5 ft table in the vendor area and your company logo will be listed as an event vendor on the Maritime Mega 2010 website.

 

Choice of table location is on a first-come first-served basis.  Vendors who submit their $200 payment and signed vendor agreement will be given priority in the order payments are received.  Your company logo will not appear on the MaritimeMega.ca website until payment is received.  Vendor table requests will only be accepted until June 1, 2010 or until space is filled; whichever comes first.

 

If you wish to participate as a vendor, please contact us and we will forward you the Vendor Agreement (PDF) for your signature.

 

Financial Sponsorship : The Maritime Mega cannot occur without adequate funding.  We have created a number of sponsorship levels that we hope can accomodate every budget.  Sponsorship requests will only be accepted until June 1, 2010.  If you wish to participate as a financial sponsor please contact us and we will forward the Sponsorship Agreement (PDF) to you for your signature.

 

FRIENDS OF THE MARITIME MEGA:  $150.00 

  • Recognition on the MaritimeMega.com website
  • Company logo on back of the event t-shirt (2 sq. inch)

BRONZE LEVEL SPONSORSHIP :  $500.00

  • Company logo and graphical link to your website on the MaritimeMega.com website
  • Company logo on back of the event t-shirt (2 sq. inch)
  • 1 vendor booth on Saturday, if desired

SILVER LEVEL SPONSORSHIP:  $1000.00

  • Company logo and graphical link to your website on the MaritimeMega.com website
  • Company logo on back of the event t-shirt (4 sq. inch)
  • 2 booths on Saturday, if desired
  • Printed material in event bag 

GOLD LEVEL SPONSORSHIP:  $2000.00

  • Company logo and graphical link to your website on the MaritimeMega.com website
  • Company logo on back of the event t-shirt (6 sq. inch)
  • 2 booths on Saturday, if desired
  • Printed material in event bag
  • Rotating banner ad on all pages of the MaritimeMega.com website 

PLATINUM SPONSORSHIP:  $3000.00

  • Company logo and graphical link to your website on the MaritimeMega.com website
  • Company logo on back of the event t-shirt (6 sq. inch)
  • 3 booths on Saturday, if desired
  • Printed material in event bag
  • Rotating banner ad on all pages of the MaritimeMega.com website
  • Company logo printed on all brochures and press releases created by Maritime Mega 2010 Committee
  • Named as Official Sponsor of the Maritime Mega 2010
  • Our everlasting love and gratitude!

 

In-Kind Sponsorship : In-kind sponsorships are where services/products are exchanged for value.  Donation of goods (for raffles, event bags, etc) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.  If you wish to participate as an in-kind sponsor, please contact us with your detailed offer.  The committee will get back to you to discuss the details and forward you the Sponsorship Agreement (PDF).  If your in-kind sponsorship offer is accepted, please note that the committee must receive the donated goods no later than June 1, 2010.
